Dr Mitchell Clark BHSc MHSc
I studied a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) before securing a post-graduate internship at the orthopaedics ward of a teaching hospital in China, after which I went back to Sydney to finish my Master of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Acupuncture) where I looked at the role of needling in the biomechanics of the knee.
Since settling in Melbourne, I have worked with a broad range of athletes – most recently with some of Australia’s Rio 2016 medalists, but also with the weekend warriors and Park Runners that participate in sport purely for their love of it.
I pride myself on really understanding athletes. Having competed in sport all of my life, I know how frustrating it is to have to sit out because of an injury. There are few injuries that I haven't had myself already, and I use that experience, as well as my formal education and professional experience to get the best results for my patients.
